Obituary of Anne Maslak Pavia

Anne Maslak Pavia, 102, entered her eternal garden Wednesday, March 4, 2020. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Anne was retired from Sibley's Bakery, enjoyed thrift stores, flea markets, and cherished her time working in her flower gardens. She was an avid doll collector, and spoiled her nieces and nephews throughout her life. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Maslak, Judy Panek, Helen Rogala, and Olga Burns. She was also preceded by her nephew Rich Burns and niece Peggy Ponichtera.
Anne is survived by her many nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Anne's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Macko-Vassallo Funeral Home, 1609 W. Genesee St. Anne will be laid to rest in the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
